Privacy Policy

At BlueVolt, we prioritize the protection and transparency of your data. This Privacy Policy details the information we collect when you play "Gym High Bar" and how we use it.

1. Information We Collect

To provide and improve our services, we collect certain information when you interact with our game:

• Device Information: We collect a device identifier to save your progress, and the advertising identifier to deliver relevant advertising: the Google advertising ID (GAID) on Android, and on iOS the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking when the game asks (see Section 6).
• Location Data: We may collect your approximate location data (e.g., country or city level based on IP address) to localize your experience, analyze regional performance, and provide appropriately targeted advertisements.
• Account Information: A game account identifier, your username, and, if you choose to link them, your Game Center or Google Play Games account, so your progress, friends, and maps follow you between devices.
• Age Information: Before online chat is opened, we collect either an age range shared by your device's platform or the birth month and year you enter. See Section 2.
• User-Generated Content: Usernames, custom maps and their names, friend requests, and chat messages you send to other players.

2. Age Verification

Online chat is age verified. When you first open chat, the game asks your device's platform for an age range (Apple's Declared Age Range on iOS, Google Play Age Signals on Android). If no age range is available, you are asked for your birth month and year once; it cannot be changed afterwards from within the game. We never ask for your full date of birth, and we do not collect identity documents or photos.

Your age determines which chat features are available:

• Under 13: preset messages only. Players cannot type free text.
• 13 and over: free-text chat, with every message moderated as described in Section 5.

We store only the resulting age range or birth month and year, and use it only to decide which chat features you can access. An age range shared by your platform is re-checked every 24 hours.

3. Friends

You can send, accept, and remove friend requests with other players. We store your friends list and pending requests so they are available on every device you play on. If you choose to connect Game Center or Google Play Games, we use your friends list from that platform only to show which of your friends also play Gym High Bar; we do not contact anyone on your behalf. Other players can see your username, but never your age information, device identifiers, or location.

4. Custom Maps and Usernames

Gym High Bar lets players create usernames and build, name, and share custom maps. All of this content is verified and filtered before other players can see it:

• Every username, map name, and creator name is checked by our automated moderation system, and anything offensive, hateful, sexual, or otherwise inappropriate is rejected.
• Shared maps are stored on our servers and shown to other players along with the creator's username.
• Content that breaks our rules can be removed by us at any time, and repeated violations can lead to account restrictions or bans.

When you delete a map, it is removed from the game immediately and permanently purged from our systems and backups within 90 days.

5. Online Chat and Moderation

Online chat is age verified (Section 2), moderated, and analyzed by AI to keep players safe:

• Automated screening: every typed message is analyzed by OpenAI's moderation service (Section 7) before it is delivered. Messages flagged for harassment, hate, sexual content, self-harm, violence, or similar harms are blocked and never reach other players.
• Enforcement: when a player repeatedly sends harmful messages, an AI review of the surrounding conversation by OpenAI can result in an automatic, temporary or permanent ban. A record of blocked messages is kept for 7 days for this purpose.
• Muting: you can mute any player from the chat to hide their messages. Your mute list is saved only on your device and is never shared with the muted player.
• Reporting: you can report another player from the chat. The reported player's recent messages are sent to our moderation team for human review, translated into English if needed, and may result in action against their account.
• Retention: we do not keep a permanent chat history. The last few delivered messages in a room are held for about 5 minutes so that reports and moderation decisions have context, then discarded. Messages included in a report are retained by our moderation team as long as needed to handle the report.

6. Third-Party Data Sharing and Ad Mediation

"Gym High Bar" is free to play, supported by advertisements. To serve these ads, we partner with third-party ad mediation platforms. We share the aforementioned device identifiers and approximate location data with these partners:

• LevelPlay
  (ironSource)
• Unity Ads
• Google AdMob

These platforms may use this data to provide personalized advertisements based on your interests. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for more details on their data processing practices.

On iOS, the game asks for your permission before ad partners can use your device's advertising identifier. If you decline, it is not shared and ads are not personalized with it. You can change your choice at any time in your device's settings. On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's settings.

7. Service Providers for Accounts and Moderation

We share only what each service needs to operate the features above. None of them receive your data for advertising:

• Microsoft PlayFab: account sign-in and game account identifiers.
• OpenAI: the text of chat messages, usernames, and map names, sent to its moderation service for automated screening and review.
• Discord: hosts the private channel where our moderation team reviews reported messages and the usernames of the players involved.

8. Crash Reporting

When the game crashes or hits an error, a crash report is sent to Sentry so we can find and fix the problem. It contains technical details only: the error, your device model, operating system, and game version. It is not linked to your username or game account, and it is not used for advertising.

9. Children

Gym High Bar can be played by all ages. Players under 13 cannot type free text in chat and can only send preset messages. Usernames and custom maps from every player, including children, pass through the moderation described in Section 4. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has shared personal information with us, contact us using the steps below and we will delete it.

10. Data Deletion Request

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time. The quickest way is from the game: open Settings, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account. You can also request it by email:

Upon receiving your request, we will process the deletion of your data within 30 days, and confirm by email once it is complete if you asked by email. This includes your account, username, friends list, custom maps, and age information.

Welcome to BlueVolt! By downloading, accessing, or playing "Gym High Bar", you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our game, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or play the game.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use "Gym High Bar" only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

• Use cheats, exploits, automation software, bots, hacks, or any unauthorized third-party software designed to modify or interfere with the game experience.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or decipher any part of the game.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other players or our staff.

3. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to "Gym High Bar" (including but not limited to any games, titles, computer code, themes, objects, characters, character names, stories, dialogue, catchphrases, concepts, artwork, animations, sounds, musical compositions, audio-visual effects, methods of operation, moral rights, documentation, and in-game chat transcripts) are owned by BlueVolt. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and play the game for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes only.

4. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, BlueVolt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or other similar damages, including but not limited to loss of revenues, lost profits, lost data, or business interruption or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating in any way to these Terms of Service or the game itself, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not BlueVolt has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

5. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the game following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
